I went 6 months doing nothing and gained all my weight back... It's been hard but I've started slowly getting back into it. Still don't have the enthuisiasm I did before but I feel like I'm making better decisions this time around. Knowing I can do it and using my friends on here for support has been a huge help.

I've hit several rough patches, in 2 years and 80 lbs. recommit now. Print out a monthly calendar, mark down for the entire month your workout sessions then tape it on the bathroom mirror above your toothbrush with at least 5 goals. Good goals include:

    Lifting a new PR
    Running a new PR
Participating in a local fitness event
Being able to hold a plank for a certain amt of time
Being able to do so many pull ups/ push ups or sit ups in a specific time goal

Look back at your inspirations for new found motivation - "breaking the cycle of bad body image in my family, set a good example for my kids".

How do you get back on? You have to WANT it. It will NOT come and find you. How did you begin before? Do that again.

"Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever."

Now get up and go get it!
  • I go at least one or two months every year without doing anything, usually just before the summer. By August each year I have gained around 5 - 6 lbs and by Christmas I always drop back to where I want to be again. It just takes a little extra effort. Don't worry. If you have been working hard previously you know what to do and your body will react very quickly when you start again. By the start of February you will be back to normal x
  • my kids yes! i grew with a mother with bodey image Problems and it rubbed off and its so draining,im sick of quiting things i want to reach my goal and get that confidence for me so i dont rub my issues on kids and they pick it up

girl just get right back up on that horse and start making it a habit again. it takes 30 days to make a new habit they say, so just commit to getting through the next 30 days, even if you have to force yopurself, even if you go and just do 5 minutes, get back in the habit of dressing and going there.

you've done it once so you can do it again
