I have several playlists, different playlists for different machines, a playlist for strength training. I'll make a playlist for interval training on the cardio equipment - a 3-4 minutes song with a fast beat, then a slower song to back-off to. I change it up often - if I don't get bored with the music, I don't get as bored on the equipment. For strength training - something with a solid hitting bass beat that has a rhythm similar to how fast I'm repping. I also put my new music into it's own playlist - I find the gym is a great time to listen to the "other" songs on an album. Finally, I have an 80's music playlist (showing my age - graduate 1987) It's my go-to list only when I really don't feel motivated - I make it a special treat!

I listen to mostly contemporarly Christian music - if anyone would like my playlists - inbox me and I'll be more than happy to share!
