Lean Protein

I was just curious what are the leanest proteins I could eat? I'm trying to bulk up and I dont want super high calorie proteins as possible. I thought the rule of thumb went fish, turkey, chicken, but i've heard otherwise. What proteins should i focus on?

    I believe chicken and turkey breast are leaner than fish, but I could be wrong. Also, egg whites and protein powder are good sources.

    Cottage cheese is a great source of protein and really low in calories as well. I tend to eat quite a lot of tuna as well, one can has around 33g of protein in (for 120g of fish). Chicken is definitely one of the leanest meat proteins.

    Beans and lentils are a great source of non-animal protein too. They make great soups. I love white bean and kale soup or lentil soup. For a more summery dish I love white beans with tuna sprinkled with olive oil and lemon juice (and salt and pepper). Yum!

  • Quinoa is a great source of Protein.
