Totally Amped & Looking for Friends

I've been on MFP for about two weeks now. I love it! I love that it doesn't just track my calories - but my sugar, fiber, protein, carbs, and sodium, too. I'm amped to acheive my weight loss goals and then to start getting fit. I work full time and am getting my BA on a part time basis. This doesn't leave a whole lot of extra time - but I figured what little time I have should be spent learning how to cook and getting healthier.

I have a 1 person support system (gotta love my boyfriend), so I'd love to make some extra friends on here. Feel free to add me!

    Good luck girl!!! I have learned so many different things to cook now I have won my husbands heart! I follow recipes from Skinnytaste.com. She has the best stuff on there!

    I love that website. I figured since I hate doing dishes and have a short attention span, I would try her slow cooker recipes. So far they have all been wonderful and super easy to bring to work!

    Well, when you put it that way - I guess I've lucked out having a TWO person support system! It's awesome that you're doing it on your own - and takes guts. Good luck and thanks for the ad!

    Welcome to MFP! I've been on here almost a year (holy crap i can't believe it...) It's a really great site, with SO many awesome people. I've met 5 or 6 in person and they are the most fantastic, supportive people ever...and even those i've not met are as well. I'm not a master chef or anything, but learning how to make some healthy things has DEFINITELY been a great start for me in losing weight...and the people around here will be great at helping you stay on track!     I just joined yesterday and love it already! it's so motivating and i've exercised both days. I'm also my own support system. I live in a country where it seems like everyone is thin, so no one i know is dieting like this! Good luck to you! i sent a request : )
