Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results..... I'm over it. I've been doing NROL4W 3xweek and cardio 3xweek and eating at a 10% deficit since October, I've only gained weight and inches. I think I'm going to say screw trying to lose anymore weight, obviously my body doesn't want to. I've been trying to lose the last 5-10 pounds. So I want to go all out on lifting and eating a surplus. So my question is: should I try to lift more than 3xweek? Do I only eat a surplus on lifting days? Eat at maintence on rest days? I'm a 5'7 32F about 138lbs. Thanks for opinions, I've really only researched calories in relation to losing weight.

How long have you been at it?
When you get closer to your goal
    weight it gets slower.

I wouldn't think you would GAIN inches
with a deficit though. That's strange unless
    maybe you are bloating.

    What's your sodium like?

Lift on a routine that suits your goals and training level and eat a few hundred cals over maintenance every day.

You are talking about doing a bulk correct? If so, yes, eat a few hundred calories extra per day, every day, even on non-lifting days, and do minimal cardio. Keep in mind you will gain some weight (mostly water) but you should also gain strength. you can continue to do your lifts 3x a week if that fits your schedule. Especially with upping your weights you won't/shouldn't be able to manage more than that.

Are you sure that it's a 10% deficit if you're gaining weight? Make it a 15% deficit. Also, do you eat mostly clean? Lots of sodium may bloat you, as can wheat.
