No calorie burn credit in MFP for Strength Exercises... How come? I know I am burning calories.

I used to log approx. 120 calories for a 60 min heavy weightlifting session but I no longer do it now.
Because in the case of weight lifting it's the 'after burn' that is the benefit.0 -
You can log a strenght training/weight training session under "cardio" for calorie burn and then log your specific exercises in the strength section.0

The reason it isn't in MFP already is probably because cardio is fairly easy to estimate based on height and weight but weight training has wide variations based on fitness level. The only real option is to get a very good HRM and create the exercise yourself.0

You need to buy a HRM. This will help you get the most accurate calories you are burning.0
