I LIVE IN kingwood Tx. Aka the livable forest. We are close enough to Houston to enjoy the big city amennities and far enough away to have the small town feel. I am originally from Roswell NM and I love Kingwood. Texas Just cant imagine living anywhere else.

I'm from Cypress..... a suburb of Houston. I'm a native Houstonian and highly recommend the Lone Star state for a move. We have lots of awesome things to do and I'm positive you'll love Texas. You didn't mention what part of Texas you're thinking about, and it all depends on the industry and type of things you're looking for before I can recommend an area. Houston is a very spread out Metro city, but there are many small towns around it where you would still be close enough to have the city when needed but far enough to not feel crowded. Lots of history here and wide open spaces too. :-)
  • You do have to keep in mind that Texas gets really really hot in the summer. It can be tough if you are a native and especially hard if you are not used to it. :smooched:
