ready for change!!

hi :) i joined in december but i dont think i posted anything in here. im 30, married to a great guy and have the 3 best kids a mom could ask for! im ready for this change and im making a little progress but its going to be a long hard road. i love my junk food way to much to just part ways...so i guess what im going to have to do is not keep it in the house and just have a lil bit every now and then, i love to cook and im a good cook, but theres something about pizza that i love..ha ha. anyways :) i know i can do this 140 here i come

    I very much know what you're saying. I love me some Doritos! I'm trying to just have a few now and then so I don't cave and eat a whole bag, but at the same time, not undo all the work I've done. This is sort of a new thing for me, so it'll be a long road here as well. Oh, and I really like pizza too, so I started making it at home. It's really good and easy, but not as bad as getting Pizza Hut or something :)

  • Welcome! I love the junk too! I'm finding I like healthy food as well, just have to plan more. Stick to it and you'll see results!
  • Im in the love to cook department too... and have two kids and a great husband. But I work a tonne too, which wreaks chaos on when I eat etc.... I am loving MFP so far as it is actually making me eat more when I need to and watch the days I want to "go over" lol.... Like @gogochaji said, it is a long road, and I am ok with that, it is about change and that does not (unfortunately) happen over nite. And of course we all still want to live out lives, and yes, that means subway or take out pizza sometimes due to kids and schedule :) I got a fitbit one for xmas and it is awesome so far, and I am having fun watching how many steps etc I do take in a day doing what I do... lol ...
