Carpet sinks, so you might not get as accurate a weight. That said, as long as you weigh in at the same location each time, you'll get an accurate weight CHANGE each week, even if you're slightly more than you would be on a hard surface.
I weigh in in my bathroom, on tile. I want all the help I can get! LOL!0 -
Hard surface... and yes, it can make a difference. The more stable the scale is, the more acccurate your reading.0

Thanks to your posts I tried weighing myself on a hard surface and discovered that I'm 5lbs lighter than I thought I was.
I'm really happy now lol xx

I'm 2lbs lighter on carpet, I only found out the other day so its quite disheartening. I now weigh on tiles because I want as accurate a reading as possible.0
