Eating back calories

Just wondered what everyone does with the calories burnt through exercise. Don't know if this is the correct topic (new to forums). Feel free to add me, looking to lose about 8% body fat.15-20 pounds maybe. Started the c25k programme. On week 5 tomorrow! :)

The way MFP is set up is for you to eat the exercise calories.

I don't eat them back. I eat what I'm supposed to eat, and if my working out cause a deficit, then I'm on track...

The only way I wouldn't eat back exercise calories is if you already have your goal set based on your TDEE. Otherwise you need those calories. The exercise is not for a bigger deficit.

Sometimes I get too full, but I always make sure to eat enough to put my net above 1200 (starving point). High calorie foods help - peanut butter for example.

I eat at maintenance now so I keep my calories the same, but when I was losing weight I ate back about half of my exercise calories. MFP overestimates the amount burned (at least for me and 2 other people that I know). Eating back half made sure that I accounted for underestimating what I ate and overestimating how much I burned.
