Water + protein powder. Perhaps replace water with milk if you so desire!

My personal favorite and hangover remedy is:
    1/2 almond milk
as MUCH spinach as you can fit in it ( or just 10-15 leaves if your not hungover)
    2 tbsp peanut butter
    a handful of walnuts
    a banana

I'd suggest google or facebook pages about smoothies/eating green/juicing pages. I have a ton of pages that post recipies daily on facebookl!

    1 scoop protein powder (vanilla)

My favorite is 1/2 c orange juice, 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt, 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, 1/4 c mixed frozen fruit (I like the peaches, mangos, strawberries & pineapples), with half a banana. I've also swapped out the frozen fruit for frozen berries (blue berries, rasperries, strawberries) and apple juice instead of orange juice.

My hubby likes milk w/vanilla yogurt, chocolate protein powder and peanut butter. He makes his own so I couldn't tell you how much of each he uses. Sometimes he's a rebel and uses chocolate syrup instead of the protein powder lol.

I love my Magic Bullet. My favorite is 8OZ water. 1.5 scoops chocolate Whey protein powder, 1/2 banana, and a 1 teaspoon Espresso powder or instant coffee! YUM!
  • I just got the Nutri Bullet- it works great for smoothies. I like to use spinach &/or kale, chard & green apples & blueberries
to sweeten it a little & sometimes also put in some protein powder. I've never been to good about eating those
kinds of veggies & drinking them in a smoothie is way easy!

    I found a Smoothie chart on Pinterest that gives you different options for each segment of the smoothie recipe. Just go to Pinterest and search for 'Smoothie Chart'. You'll find several helpful tools, including alot of Green Smoothie ideas. I just started trying them the other day. The first one I made was;

    4 Strawberries
    1 Greek Yogurt (Pomegranate)
about 3 oz Organic Vanilla Soymilk
    1 Frozen Banana

Helpful hint was that the frozen banana worked like ice to thicken it up. It tasted very good.
    Good luck.

My recipe is very similar to this one, and considering I don't eat alot of veggies throughout my day, it works out great!

1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/2 cup non-fat plain Greek Yogurt
    1 banana
    1 tbsp. Peanut Butter
Handfuls of spinach (till blender is full)
A few ice cubes (if desired)

Very good and not too high on the calorie count.
