I would suggest juicing- Using organic veggies, fruits and your own juicer. You can also add nuts and seeds to your juice. You can incorporate the juice in your diet or only use the juice for a certain period of time. I would suggest still drinking the juice after you stop juicing only and eat organic veggies and fruits.0

Like most of the responses, I would ask what you mean by "cleanse" exactly. Personally, I just started a 3-day juice fast yesterday. Which is my idea of cleansing. For anyone out there who has ever wondered about this, or pondered doing it, I would suggest you check out the documentary called Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead. A-ma-zing. And very inspirational. I'm only on day two but am feeling pretty good. No headaches or lethargy at this point. I experienced some fatigue last night but that's fine by me as I suffer insomnia from time to time. Anyway, I digress -- IF you mean this type of cleanse, they recommend doing a 3-day juice fast about every 4-6 months. I think you should just listen to your body. If you feel like you need to "reboot", go for it. Just see your doctor first.0

It's been done as we type! You don't need to waste money on a "cleanse" just eat lots of fruits and veggies and drink lots of water.
Just my opinion based on my experience. I've tried em and lost nothing but money. The weight loss was temporary and not fun.0 -

On a more serious note, when I first decided to lose weight and began paying attention to what I was eating, I went from eating and drinking way too much soda, junk food, pasta, candy, and fast food, to eating lots of vegetables (raw and cooked), lean grilled chicken, and brown rice (still ate other stuff, but that was my focus)--I lost a lot of weight the first two weeks, felt 100 percent better, and had much more regular bathroom habits--sort of a natural cleanse, if you will. It just didn't hurt, didn't require any "special" foods or drinks or pills, and I was eating a proper amount of calories to fuel the working out I had just started doing.0

There's multiple types of cleanse... the liquid cleanse (don't recommend) or a pill based cleanse... which I also don't recommend. I did a "natural" cleanse for the first time 3 months ago.. took multiple pills, ate right and exercised... I was in such pain by day 4 that I couldn't even stand... Toxins are stored in a womans legs; therefore, all the pain is in your legs and/or other areas. On top of the horrible leg pain, I got extremely sick for 5 days while cleansing... that's the whole point of cleansing is to rid your body of toxins and it WILL make you sick. I will NEVER cleanse again!!!!
Oh my goodness...Please tell me you don't really believe that "toxins are stored in a women's legs" and all the other junk??? You got sick because you put a lot of junky pills in your body and got very little nutrition......0 -

Don't do it. Your body has systems that do it naturally:
- The large intestine
- The liver
- The kidneys
- Fat tissue
- Muscles and tendons
- Nose, ears, and eyes
- Lungs and skin
The best thing you can do is to feed your body nutrient dense, healthy foods, hydrate your body properly, move a lot and get plenty of rest. That way your systems can properly "cleanse" themselves by working in an optimally supported environment.
