question about finding and logging food

So, I was just wondering if there was a way to see what ingredients were in other people's food. You know the ones they add to the entries so anyone could put them under their food for that day.

For example I made homemade spaghetti last night so I looked it up. It had Jane's homemade spaghetti 1 serving is around 250 cals. But how do I see what she made it with or if it is comparable to mine?

Am I writing it right or is it too confusing? Sorry if it is

What probably happened is she looked up all her ingredients and combined them and then did individual servings (I do this, hubby makes an awesome spinach and artichoke dip but not every does it exactly the same). If you can remember all the ingredients, add everything up. Or put everything in & save as a Meal. Might be a little confusing at first though. Good luck!

There is a website that I input my ingredients and then is gives me the nutritional values for everything combined and you can tell it how many serving as well. it helps if you don't want to input each item here for a recipe that you make often. I then add that recipe with my name as the brand. It is a little tedious at first but this whole thing is tedious anyways. I always think - Slow and steady wins the race! Hope is helps
