How do you know how many calories you need per day to maintain?

my home > settings > update diet / fitness profile
in the "what is your goal" section pick
MAINTAIN WEIGHT
instead of the other options such as gain 1 or 0.5 lbs or lose 0.5 1 1.5 or 2 lbs0 -
Set MFP for a 0 lb/week loss...there is a maintenance option in the set up of your goals.0

The best way to know is the carefully and accurately log in your food and exercise diary for several months. I happily discovered that my TDEE is about 300 calories a day higher than the online calculators thought it should be, after logging for six months. Just don't forget that the calculators are based on forumlas and averages. YMMV :flowerforyou:0
