So, when I enter that I've done the elliptical on here for 30 minutes, it says it's worth 506 calories. However, the actual elliptical machine says it's about 180 calories. 506 seems like an awfully lot, what do you think?

I type in what my Elliptical machine says when I'm done. I have entered 20 minutes before and it said 105 calories burned, when my Elliptical said 200. Type in what elliptical says as it know what resistance you use and your strides.0

for every 10 minutes mfp says 90 calories burned when i enter elliptical......i think it uses your weight as well as your activity setting you entered when you join mfp.0

Go by the machine. MFP is often wrong and can't take into consideration your speed and level on the elliptical.0

Okay, thanks everyone. I'll go by what the machine says.0

in 30 minutes I tend to burn about 350 calories, so 500+ seems a lot, even very fit friends don't manage 500 calories on elliptical in 30 mins.0
