great job! How many lbs did you have to lose to go down in size?
  • Great job!! :D I think losing a pant-size is the BEST part of the whole weight-loss journey! :D I was a size 14(tight)-16 when I started in September. I didn't get into a 12 until I'd lost 40 lbs and finally I fit into a 12!
My goal is to fit into a size 10 by April. We'll see.

    Again, though, great job! :D

    Congratulations!! That is awesome!
  • Wonderful! It's such a treat to be in a smaller size, but buy just what you need to get by. I was in the same boat and by the time I felt I had a full stock of what I wanted, I went down again... (I know... such a trouble to have... haha). But seriously, GO YOU! :)

Man, yeah that's such a great feeling. I remember when I lost weight the first time and went shopping for new jeans. I had been wearing 14's with belts to keep them up, I tried a 12 too big, 10 too big, 8 perfect. My eyes almost popped out of my head! I want to feel that again. I'm rocking size 22's right now. Boo. :-(

Start looking into consignments shops and thrift stores for clothes. Trust me on this -- you won't want to spend money on good clothes til you get to a goal weight. And CONGRATS!!!

very true. The jeans I bought a few years ago and saved them because I knew I would reach a size 14 some time. I just bought me a long sleeve shirt today.

    I was a size 16 from 200 pounds-190 pounds. I just weighed in at 187 pounds yesterday. slipped to a 14.
