Can anyone provide me a great smoothie for a quick on-the-go breakfast? (No strawberries or pineapple very allergic) Sometimes it is hard making food before class and I want to have something I can quickly blend and head out the door with.
Also, if I add protein, is that good for first thing?
Thanks All!

I have a green smoothie every morning for breakfast, and they are so great! Best part is, you can prep everything the night before, dump in the blender, and be done with it in just a few minutes. I love them because i get water, fruit, and greens in the system first thing, give me lots of energy and keep me pretty full for about 4 hours.
water-based
a bunch of kale or spinach
a banana or two
a carrot
a cucumber if i have one
fruit (green apples, blueberries, blackberries, mango, whatever you want!)
squeezed juice of half a lemon (adds a nice zing)
a quarter cup of rolled oats or a tablespoon or two of peanut butter go nicely with all of that, too
green smoothies are my favorite!!!0 -
Thanks for the recipes! Definitely going to give them a shot.0
