Hi everyone! I'm a bit confused as to the number of cal's each day I should target in order to STAY at my best weight? I get all kinds of numbers on Google and this site as well. Is there a simple calculator that I can use without alot of math involved? Ha!!!

Thank you.

Christine

I think you can adjust your settings on here to maintenance. Try the number of calories you get when you do that and see how it goes.

:flowerforyou: When I reached my goal weight I add 50 calories a day for a week and when that didn't cause me to gain, I added another 50 the next week, and so on until I found an amount that worked for me........I continue to stay active and log all my food so I don't stray into dangerous territory.

Add some lean long muscle to your frame and you can eat even more food without gaining :)

Good advice! I am a former Slim-Faster and when it came time to start maintenance I was told to gradually increase my calories until I was no longer losing weight. Everyone is different in how our metabolisms work, how much exercise we get and how and what we eat. I was told that to maintain I needed 500 more calories a day. I agree with starting out at 50.
