New to the site. Any 40+ gals losing 15-20 lbs?

Hello and Happy 2013! I'm hoping that this website can serve as a valuable tool as I work towards my goal of losing 16 pounds over the next five months. I just joined yesterday and would love to find some friends to share the challenge.

I have always been in decent shape but have found my metabolism is winding down over the past two years. Any other gals in my situation? It would be great to share tips and support. Please let me know!

    Hi there, I'm 47 and I've lost 30pounds so far, and have between 10 to 20 pounds to go - (depending on how I feel/look when I lose the first 10). I'm taking it nice and slow, and don't go crazy over gyms or cardio. Feel free to friend me if you like. :smile:

    I'm in. I'm 45 and need to lose 20. As we age the weight will creep up on you if you don't watch it daily. Ugh.
