well, that was a kick in the *kitten*.

I've spent the last 5 days in the hospital. I had an infection in my intestines but that's besides the point here. Upon my discharge and looking through my papers under "diagnoses" it said Ileitis and obesity.I guess 2013 is trying to give me a kick in my *kitten*. So here we go. With a clean system after a 4 day liquid diet and colonoscopy later.
I'm 24, I'm 6'0'', I weigh 253 pounds. I am obese.
My name is Amary. Lets do this together.

I'm not 100% but I'm getting there! So yes, lets make 2013 a happy HEALTHY new year. I can't afford spend another 5 days coped up in a hospital bed. I guess it was the wake up call I needed.

Everyone has a turning point. Best not to forget it. Mine was discussing back surgery options with a specialist. I left thinking that anything would be better then going under the knife. I've since lost 50 pounds and intend on lightening my load even more. Use it as your starting point and never look back. It is amazing what you can accomplish if you stay focused.

I remember when I had my colonoscopy in May, I lost whole 5lbs from the "cleanse" so now when someone says I am full of ****.. I claim only 5lbs.. LOL

unfortunately, it all came back on in a couple days.

Oh that awful word. I hate it. Nothing like giving you a shot to your self-esteem and confidence huh? But ur right, we can do this and we WILL do this. Just make sure ur health is back on order before you go jumping into the whole workout bit or you'll be right back where u were.

Oh, I totally agree. I'm going to wait a week or two and concentrate on eating right and finding healthier habits. I might try some yoga just to get my body and mind in the right place.
