I am looking for a good dvd that is only stretching. I need the visual/guidance and cannot get that properly from a picture and words. I am a visual learner. Thanks in advance. =)

For yoga, I'd recommend Rodney Yee's "AM Yoga for your Week," and for athletic stretching, Tamilee Webb's "Total Stretch for Beginners." My absolute favorite stretch practice is the one Chalene Johnson included with her Turbo Fire set, "Stretch 10." It's only about 12 minutes and hits just about everything. You can sometimes find the Turbo Fire DVDs sold separately on eBay.

I have Mimi Solaire's Deep Stretch. I like it. I bought Lastics stretch DVD, but haven't tried it yet. Also, Cathe has some stretch DVDs like Stretch Max, Yoga Max etc...

I need your help. I just purchased the Extreme Makeover Weight loss dvd, The Workout. Its the low impact workouts. How do I figure out how many calories I am burning?

You can use a HRM to try and monitor it but I have read they aren't great for low impact stuff. If you get something like a polar, try and set the min HR lower and wear it through your workout.

Rodney Yee's AM Yoga for your Week got me started on my health and wellness journey...

First "fitness" dvd I ever tried, first "workout" I ever did after deciding to lose weight, and first yoga "class" I ever took.

2 years later, I've lost 60lbs and earned my Registered Yoga Teacher 200hr certification.
