Any Hair Stylists out there?

My daughter has super long/thick hair (she's 3 and it's down to her waist) and I need to figure out how to put it in a bun for her dance recital. She's got pictures in full outfit the beginning of February, so it'll be a dress rehearsal for her recital. I can do all kinds of french braids, etc, but have never done a bun. Any ideas or tutorials I can follow?

Put it in a ponytail first.
Then twist the ponytail as you wrap it around itself to create the bun.
Secure with another ponytail holder and bobby pins.

lots of hairpins that are the same color of your daughters hair.. a can of Goldwell number 5 hairspray( if you have a Beans Beauty/Ulta they have it there.. or any salon that carries Goldwell)

I will try to find you a video but the best thing is hair spray and pins to keep it secure!!

Had hair that long when I was a kid. Ponytail first, braid the pony tail. Push the braid as far as you can against her head as you wrap it around. AND LOTS OF BOBBY PINS AND AQUANET!!!!!
