-women who say they feel so disgusting being a size 6 (or lower) when I would absolutely be flying
    high to be that size

This! I was shopping at American Eagle (I'm only 22, so I think it's still acceptable, for now). I was browsing the rack and grabbing things in sizes 4 and 6 because I'm not sure what size I am there, when this pre-teen girl and her father come up. Dad grabs a pair of cool looking pants (that I had just looked at) and says "how about these?" and she says "ew dad, no! a size 6, that's sooo fat!" I was disgusted by that because I worked hard to get here and I don't think I'm fat at all!

Well, from what I can see in your profile pic, you look positively tiny :) And the comments I am talking about are when I was
shopping with my sister complaining about her size...all I can think of is, "geez, what is she thinking of me, then?" Actually
I am not really wondering...I can pretty much guess what she is thinking

Hahahahahaa!. Well try this easy recipe that my cauliflower hating hubby loves. Put some frozen cauliflower in a pot on the fire that you have a lid for. Add some salt and a couple of pieces of american cheese. Put the lid on. Let it get heated and steamy. Periodically lift the lid to add pepper, cayenne pepper, regular or low fat milk, butter if you must. Stir it around when you feel you must to keep it from sticking but let the lid and the steam create most of the sauce. Serve it in a bowl and eat it while convincing yourself it's kind of like macaroni and cheese.

Seriously though, there are things to hate and things to strongly dislike. I strongly dislike a ton of things, hut if I focus on them, I become negative. Likewise, I'm trying to teach my kids that we can really like food, toys, books, movies, etc. But we love people. We love friends and family. If we use the same word to reflect our feelings for people and for things, it puts them on the same level of importance. Anyhoo... I won't hijack the hate thread.
