If you're "accurately" measuring your calorie burn using a heart rate monitor I would say Yes eat them all.
If you're estimating your calorie burn using the MFP pre-set exercises or gym machines, I'd say eat 1/2 and see how you feel.

Eating exercise calories keeps your metabolism up! among other benefits :)

Yes, eat. MFP gives them back to your daily goal for good reason!

I never eat mine. If you have your budget set to a decent amount and you aren't running marathons you shouldn't need to eat them back.

MFP creates a deficit for you. This means that the way MFP works is that you will lose weight EVEN if you don't exercise. It tells you to eat back your exercise calories because having too large a deficit can be harmful in the long run.

I never eat them all back but if I want a cheeseburger I'll eat it because I'll know I have extra calories from exercise. I try not to eat after 7pm and it hurts because I'm a night snacker and so is my hubby.......
