Im 5'9 and 170 pounds
The last 3 years I've fluctuated between 142-155
This past year I've gained a lot of weight that I would love to get rid of but I want to do it the right way
I guess I just wanted reassurance and opinions if I eat about 1700 calories per day and 45 mins cardio 6 days a week will this goal be doable?

Thanks! (:

I do between 40-50 minutes of cardio every single day and only eat around 1400 and only lose about 2lb a week... This is a tough question to answer because it entirely depends on your metabolism, your ability to build muscle, your fitness level, etc etc..

I did it at the beginning, but I went gluten and dairy free by recommendation from my nutritionist.

6135 calorie deficit done per week. That's almost 1.67 pounds of pure fat a week(but you won't be burning pure fat). I think it can be done but requires high amounts of discipline.

Oh, drop the cardio. 6 days a week is unnecessary. Start resistance training 2-3 days a week and maybe 1, or 2 days of cardio (30 minutes is enough).

Have you ever lifted weights before?

Yep! I have had personal trainers and am very comfortable with weight training etc. I guess from having personal trainers I have mixed ideas on what to eat and what to do to lose and burn fat..
