Bump for later.0

Could someone explain what bump is, thanks.0 -

Thanks for that I have been drinking this all day and it's very refreshing.Today it is 42deg Celsius (107 Fahrenheit)0

This is hotel lobby water, not magic juice. Cucumber and mint in your water might taste delicious, but it isn't doing anything for your skin. Trust.0

Bump....Bring up My post...
its used twofold here....one way is to bring the post to the top of the forum list in the catagory it's posted in...
the second way is people use it to mark the post so that if they want to come back to it later they can find it on their profile page through My Recent Forum Posts.
1ConcreteGirl is right .....the additives to the water won't really help your skin...it will just add a flavor to the water....
your skin may be looking healthier because you are at the very root of it, hydrating more....
more water, better skin...
but what you put in the water doesn't mean anything...unless it helps you drink more of it....0 -
How does it taste? I have a hard time drinking plain water.0

Water in general will help keep you hydrated which in turn keeps your skin looking better. But it wont matter what you put in it for detoxing it wont do a thing, your body does that all on its own naturally. Kidneys are awesome like that.0

Your body already detoxes itself, cleanses aren't necessary.0

After I make my first hundred million dollars from selling walking and sitting fitness DVDs, I'm going to make the next hundred mil selling " detox water" from my sink0

Another member posted the other day about hating water, so she cuts up an apple in thin slices and puts it in a two liter pitcher of water along with a cinnamon stick and chills it. I tried it. It's good, but for those who really hate water, they'd probably LOVE it.0

The lemon is amazing for helping to alkalize your body, is much needed by people who eat/drink lots of acidic things. Lemon also helps to stimulate digestion.
Try putting ginger in as well, and it will be anti-inflammatory, as well
Worst case scenario, you're getting a pretty yummy drink that has some vitamins and minerals in it.0 -

I'm not an expert but....isn't lemon acidic too? Just wanted to make sure....0 -
I did this a few years ago, bought a 2.5 gallon water for the fridge and put the lemon and cucumber slices in. Tasted great day 1, day 2 it tasted like spoiled veggies. We couldn't get the smell/taste out and had to trash the water jug. Just a heads up for you preppers out their.0

Lemon is acid absolutely (in the grand scheme of things, a weak acid), but during digestion, it changes to having very alkalizing properties.

Things I didn't know. Thanks0 -
Thanks so much for your explanation regarding bumping
I think the water is good for you as it is alkalizing your body with the lemon.0 -

Warm it up and it is more potent as the lemon adds slight acid and hot acid is like a colonic0
