First NSV

Last night, I hopped on my stationary bike (air resistant upright). I was still decently sore from the day before (W1D1 of C25K), but I figured that I'd give it a shot, and if it was too much, I'd stop. I've worked myself up for the last couple of months to doing a half hour (I used to only be able to do about 6 minutes, and then it would be too much). So it was pretty hard, partially because I made the mistake of adding an additional layer, and the room was probably about 70+ degrees from our pellet stove. I get about 24 minutes in, and I'm thinking "I've only got one song left, just Call Me Maybe", and instead I got "Some Nights" from fun. I stopped. Dropped my head, thought "Oh my god, there was another song" - not as close to done as I thought. Two month ago, I would have given up, gotten off the bike, and called it a night (and felt defeated in the process). After about 30 seconds, I thought "screw it, I'm finishing...". Took off the extra layer that I had been stubbornly keeping on, and finished (and not slacking on it either). When I was done, I went outside (32 degrees and freezing rain), and I could see the steam rising off of my body. So. Worth. It.
