Running Events In Ontario?? PLEASE HELP!

How can I find running events close to my area? I've tried searching on Google and nothing so far! Nadda, zip, zero! I'm living in Elliot Lake, ON and am searching for some running events around the Sudbury & Sault St. Marie areas. Small towns between those are welcome. Whatever, I just wanna run! So if you have any website that you use to find runs then please share because Im lost!

ooo that's going to be tricky!! why don't you organized a run? Might be interesting and fun.

I'm in Barrie, and I know that's a LOOONG way from you - but the Warrior Dash is happening in July at Horseshoe valley just north of Barrie - maybe since it's such a fun event it would be worth the drive?
