Cellulite

I have hideous cellulite all over the back of my legs pretty much from calves up. I have already lost 22kg but it doesn't really seem to have reduced. Granted, I don't exercise much at all so that might have an effect on minimizing the appearance but was wondering if anyone had any cellulite success stories/REAL tips etc?

I've always heard that massaging the area would help reduce cellulite. So put lotion on your legs everyday and rub a little longer than necessary. Let me know if it works.

Eat clean. If your body is overloaded with toxins your liver is not able to deal with them all so it send the 'less' toxic ones to be stored somewhere 'safe' on your body - the fat cells in the main cellulite areas- so that it can deal with them later. I don't remember all the technical words but basically to protect itself it surrounds those cells with a liquid and these covered fat cells give the appearance that we call cellulite. If you continue to over load with toxins your body will never get round to dealing with the area and you will also struggle to burn the fat cells under there. Eat clean!! Ionithermie style treatments can help but eating clean will help. Mine has started reappearing now I am not eating as well even though I have not gained any weight recently.

Do you have any good links/material on eating clean? I have been thinking about it for a while.

Try dry brushing. Moves the lympth and thickens the skin.
Takes just 5 minutes a day. Totally worth it

No links I am afraid- I have my info from a course that I took last year. I had a google scan to see if something sensible came up but I didn't find any sites that I would recommend. Most tell you to exercise or use an expensive treatment. There is argument that there are different types of cellulite, and that some of them can be got rid of with losing weight and exercise but as I found, those two did not do it for me- my cellutlie got soo much worse when I just lost weight as I lsot the 'normal' fat that was helping hide it!. It really was after I cleaned up my diet that it got better. By clean I mean no processed foods, eat lean meats, fruit, veg, pulses, lots of water, cutting down sugars and white breads and pasta type things, and trying to keep chemicals out of my system. THe hardest one for me to cut down was alcohol consumption but unfortunately your body sees it as toxic. I hope someone else has some useful links for you

    Great site:

I really, really recommend dry brushing. It has made a huge difference for me.

Edit to add: lotions are only temporary; if you want to go this route for a special occasion look for one with caffeine

It doesn't matter how much weight you lose - cellulite is more-so a skin issue than a fat issue, if I remember correctly. A lot people suggest some nice massages in the area with a lotion that includes caffeine in it's ingredients. :)
