My husband is dieting with me, and he has a very sweet tooth (loves his chocolate, crisps, cookies & biscuits)
He is gagging for something sweet but he can't have as binge eats the stuff.
Any healthy sweet recipe idea's I can easily do to put in his lunch & settle his cravings? (cal's included if poss)
Thanks.

A sliced banana with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a teaspoon of honey isn't too calorie loaded and I find it satisfies my sweet tooth most times if it's not chocolate I'm specifically after.

I made trail mix... Almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, walnuts, cranberries, apricots (dried), raisins and dark chocolate drops. 230 cals, 20 carbs for 60g...So a good portion. Hits the spot. Have to be careful to keep it in a tub airtight and weigh it out though! X

Have you tried some 70% (or higher %age) dark chocolate? That gives us a treat, but it doesn't trigger binges.

If he liked chocolate ice cream he might like this, buy those individual greek yogurt cups add some coco powder or vanilla depending on what he likes I always buy plain no sugar yogurt so i can add it to my taste but if you mix some coco powder and stevia or any other kind of sweeter together and stick it in the freezer 30-40 minutes it taste a lot like chocolate ice-cream or dont freeze it for his lunch and it taste's like chocolate pudding!
or freeze 2 medium banana's add some peanut butter or coco powder and pulse in the blender until smooth it taste like banana ice cream!
Also skinny cow has some low calorie candy they come in 120 calorie packages easy for his lunch and doesnt taste like diet candy

A meringue nest with a handful of cherries, pitted and warmed with a little water and Splenda, and some fat-free Greek yoghurt. Had this earlier and it was divine!! The yoghurt was lemon flavoured, very yummy.

    Thanks.

If you don't want to go the fake sweetener route (and artificial sweeteners are usually quite unhealthy) you can make healthy chocolate by taking four ounces of baker's unsweetened chocolate and melting it in a double boiler (you can make a double boiler by taking a pyrex bowl and placing it on top of a pan of boiling water--but the chocolate in the bowl). Then you add two tablespoons of dextrose (that is the industry name for glucose. Glucose does not have the same metabolic consequences as does eating regular table sugar). You can then mix in peanuts or your favorite nuts and set out the clusters on parchment paper or wax paper until they are set up (you can hasten the process by putting them in the freezer). It will actually be good for you---there are substances in chocolate that actually help the body to repair damaged DNA---who knew?!! One cluster is very satisfying and if eaten between meals will not raise blood sugar significantly. One 1.25 oz. cluster will have about 70 calories. You can buy baker's chocolate cheaply, in bulk, and dextrose/glucose (also known as "corn sugar") at your local bulk food store. Make very sure that you don't get any water in your chocolate or it will make it into a very chalky mess. Add more or less glucose to taste.

Peel, break into 3 and freeze a banana.

Once frozen chuck in the food processor with a heaped tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa and some vanilla essence. Process until its like ice cream.

    Mix:
1 can fat free sweetened condensed milk
1 tub fat free cool whip

It makes a good fruit dip, especially for bananas or strawberries. Calories vary by how many servings you get out of it, but for 12 servings that would be 125 cal per serving.
