Slow release iron with dinner, because I am severely anemic (rare for a guy, too!). My ferritin level was 6, and for a guy, should be between 30 and 300. Kinda freaked out my doc.

THIS. For those Canadians out there, this is especially important - none of us get the amount of vitamin D necessary in the winter without taking a supplement.

I also take a prenatal vitamin (a doctor once advised that since they are fortified, an excellent supplement), Calcium, and D.

I've been teaching preschool for 24 years. From my own personal experience and watching new people join our staff...Your first 2 or 3 years, you'll catch each and every little thing that coughs your way. After that, you'll build up a killer immune system. For me, I catch one cold every 18 months now, and that's it. Good luck and have fun.

How much C do you take? There's another product called Flu Plus by BHI-Heel (you can find on Lucky Vitamin.com) that's great for helping to fend off not only the flu, but anything viral. My mom's holistic doc originally recommended it to her.
