Accurate Scale

I'm looking for a scale that I can start my weigh-ins with. I am on week four of my 1200 calorie/day diet so I am really nervous! I was last weighed at the end of December by my doctor. So, when I start weighing myself at home I don't want to be deterred by a bad scale that tells me I'm heavier than I was in December. However, I don't want a scale that tells me I weigh less then I do either!

Please share your personal "scale experiences" with me so I may order a satisfactory scale to begin my conquest!

My advice is to find a scale and stick with it. Try not to change where you weigh yourself. If you have a gym that has one (maybe in your locker room) that would be ideal. Good luck.

Give weight watchers scales a big miss. Had 2 both were so innaccurate and inconsistant.

I invested in an EatSmart digital scale and I have the old fashioned type as well (the one I started out with). I use both every morning. The digital always weighs me 1-4.8 lbs heavier than the other on any given day, even sitting the in same place, but it is more consistent. When I go to the doctor's, I'm usually somewhere in between the two. I use both scales to give myself a guide. Even though I weigh every morning, I do not log it except when there is a change in my weight. As in over Christmas, I gained so I did change it to reflect that, no matter how bad it felt. IMO, I would go with a digital. I got mine on Amazon for around $60.
