Hello to everyone :)

Hi, I hope everyone's having a great day so far.
I've been using this site for nearly a week (got my first weigh in since using it tomorrow) and I'm really enjoy it. I did not expect to say that and I'm sure down the line I'll find it pretty hard.

I've been trying to eat healthy since November but this past week I've been really strict with myself. I'm not going overboard with the exercise just yet. I'm just walking a couple miles every other day.

I took some before pictures last night, hopefully I'll be able to come back in a few months and show the progress I've made :)

Anyway that's a little about me.

I just thought I'd try to be an active part of the message board as that's bound to help me stick to this

    Hi Everyone, I am a newbee to My Fitness Pal, My friend was talking about it the other week, so I thought, hey why not download it on my blackberry. I do find it a bit slow on my phone, especially when updating food records. I am 9 stone 12lbs at the moment, but 5 foot 9, would like to lose a couple of pounds, nothing too serious. Quite hard, seen as I havent got alot of body fat and quite active. Gonna watch my calorie count as from today - See how it goes - Good luck everybody!!!! We can all do it, if we put our minds to it. Remember starvation is not the key, Healthy eating, Exercise and plenty of water is !!!! XX
  • Hi there!. I'm not exactly new to the site, I tried to keep up with it for quite a number of times, but I never really manage to keep up for more than a month.

    This time I'm for real since I really started feeling that my health is in danger here and I really need to focus.

    So having some friends around here to keep each other motivated seems like a good idea.

    Thanks for the replys everyone. The support means a lot and hello and good luck to the new people on the site as well :) Not that you need luck it seems we're all in a nice supportive community now

  • Hi there! I have a similar plan about not stressing about the exercise just yet... maybe someday I'll take up on a fitness plan in addition to eating healthier.

    I'm now under 200 lbs :) my next goal is to not be obese which is under 190lbs Hopefully shouldn't be to bad getting there
