I am a quiet one

Although this is my first post, I have been using myfitnesspal since mid September 2012 and have lost 39 pounds planning my meals, exercising and keeping to a daily 1,500 calorie intake. I am a 62 year old male diabetic who just got tired of making excuses and cut out the soda's, sweets, fast food and fried foods and went from 210 to 171 lbs,..size 40 to size 34 and just wants to encourage people using this site to keep up their efforts. Now that I have reached my weight loss goal, my next challenge will be to maintain my weight and continue to eat heathy. Thanks myfitnesspal for providing me with the tools to accomplish my goal.

  • Great job, I am a quiet one, I understand exactly what you are saying, I have not posted on here either till this past week. I am glad you shared with all of us, I think you have a lot to share that will be helpful to others, plus others can help you stay on the right track. Have a great week.

    We should have a quiet ones group. I read alot of posts, but don't make many myself. I am using the MFP tool here an have had moderate success.
