My kids. (that includes grandbaby.) My older son has my sense of humor, my younger son is working on his, and my daughter knows how to say the right things when my mood slips. And my grandbaby makes me happy just by existing
2. Who makes you the happiest in your life right now?
Hubby. Waking up and seeing him hogging the blankets makes me realise how sad it will be when he isn't there anymore for the rest of my life.
3. What pushes you to lose weight?
I push me to lose weight. It doesn't matter if those around me want me healthier, *I* have to want it. And I do.
4. What inspires you?
Other pplz successes. My own success. Seeing other people struggle, and overcome.

My dietitian, my hubby, most of my MFP buddies

Being able to wake up in the morning makes it worthwhile.

5. I was a 0 (bad) this time last year. This weekend I passed a full length mirror and didn't feel grossed out, horrified, or repulsed by what I saw. I wasn't proud of what I saw - but I was definitely proud of what I did NOT see

My perspective. My recipes. My weight

Hang gliding, apparently Im going skiing next winter (my youngest informed me of this last weekend.) Hiking - and take the youngest out in a canoe. In general, be a LOT more active than I ever could have been before losing weight.0 -

3. What pushes you to lose weight?
To be perfectly honest not getting any attention from males when I'm going out. Could be those darned pretty friends I have . And yes, I'm perfectly happy with my boyfriend but a girl needs to know she's still in the market ..

A lot of MFP's that have made huge changes. Me and my own changes, Not being able to run for 1 straight minute and now being able to run 45 minutes and not feeling exhausted

Sunshine and fresh air

Being able to run 15K, having a great *kitten* and healthy body

Starting my own business one day as an Interior Designer where I donate a part of the income to build dog houses in dog shelters in countries like Spain and Greece.0 -

MY KIDS - I never had a healthy positive female role model in my life. No offense to my mother, grandmother or aunts but it is true. Not one of them ever said they loved their bodies.
I want to be that for my daughter and some day my daughter-in-laws. Society tells women that there value is in how they look. Well I am not perfect I have stretch marks and am definately saggier in areas that used to be perky:bigsmile: but I LOVE MY BODY! I have 4 beautiful kids and wouldn't trade them for anything. The saggy/stretch marks do not define me. I am STRONG and fit and beautiful and I want my daughter to feel this way about herself. My weight does not define me! My attitude and my love for life define me!0
