Logging homemade goods? (i.e. jellies)

My boyfriend prepares and cans his own jellies/jams (among other things) because he is not big into processed food. I'm not quite sure how to log this into MFP (in terms of nutritional information)...any ideas?

Either enter it into the recipe calculator under the tab "Food" or just use an existing entry in the database. I am sure the calories in a tablespoon of jelly don't vary that much from recipe to recipe.0

I've been using the recipe tool for my homemade meals, etc. It takes a lot of time at first, but then its saved forever and will make your life easier (and more accurate).0

For me though i never make the same recipe twice! It always depends what I have in the fridge and what I feel like at the time!0

Yup.. use the recipe tool.. I constantly adjust my recipes as I don't always make it the same.. but the basics are the same. Adjusting it only changes tghe calories count going forward, not the ones you already logged so it works. Cause my breakfast smoothie is not always the same recipe.0
