So before working out I had only 70 calories left for the day...now I have 400...should I eat more? Unfortunately with 2 kids and working full time and a husband who leaves for work at 0730 and comes home after 9 pm I don't have time to work out early everyday...so now its 9 pm I just worked out and I have 400 calories left....should I eat another snack?? even though I am not hungry?? Maybe a smoothie?? anyone else in the same boat?? before starting this I sat at a desk all day...so i have 1200 calories to consume....plus exercise?? just dont want to go into starvation mode...and please dont ask to open food diary...I will when I am ready this is only my 7th day....I am still getting the hang of it hence the crazy questions....

Yes you need to eat more.
1200 calories when exercising is not realistic and you should be eating back at least some of your exercise calories.0 -
I think it is ok for the first 2-3 weeks to underconsume. After that, you will need to reconsider.0

I don't know what you should do, of course. If I'm not at all hungry, I don't eat more. I know there's a day coming when I will be over my calorie count (or I won't log at all), so I'm hoping it all balances out in the end. I was too far under my calories yesterday, but I didn't log Friday or Saturday, so I'm not worried about it.0

Yes, you should eat back most if not all of your exercise calories. Don't stress about it this one day if you already just ate and feel too full. Keep calorie dense foods around for this if it's going to happen often. A couple spoonfuls of peanut butter and you got your extra calories right there.0

good point.....I did log calories from the weekend and went over a bit ...harder to stay on track when at home without other snacks around for the kids and hubby....0
