    My advice.

    1. Eat and make sure to log everything you eat.
    2. Research the forums - lots of good info. Also do your own google research for more info. Never hurts to get educated.
    3. Do this for about a month or even two. After, if you still have questions about your diary - then come back and ask.
Asking for advice on your food when there is NOTHING in it is pretty useless.

Or it is a cry for help because you are starving yourself. In which case - go to your doctor and seek help.

?! There's nothing logged? And why do you have a category for binging?
  • It's coz I haven't logged anything in yet coz it is 6 am in Australia ATM so I haven't eaten anything yet but there is other pages that I've filled out from everyday for two weeks. :)
  • Becoz I used to a have a binge eating issue but now I've totally have it under control now :)

Just checked your diary. I went back a week and didn't see a single entry in any day's food diary. Not sure why you would ask us to check a diary that is empty.

No prob. Hope your data is able to transfer :) Here is some generic advice I can give...

If you want, check out this link by MFPer Heliotsdan - http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12

It'll give you a detailed walkthrough (with pictures even) on finding your TDEE and calculating what you should be eating.

Or for a different version to figure out your TDEE, as well as some great advice...check out:

Also, if you are worried about the calorie intake, I also suggest you read this thread that has numerous people who met their goals and are maintaining. Some for years and they also provide their calorie intake and how often they work out.

For more information about fitness and nutrition, I highly suggest checking out and joining this group:

Read all the stickies. It's great information to know.

For info about your macros (proteins/fats/carbs) - check out this link. It will give you the formula to figure out your #s and also how to custom change them in MFP:

Yes, this is can all be overwhelming and complicated , but you are more than welcome to ask questions on the post.
One of the things that I have found that has been one of the best methods for me to get fit is to understand fitness. To understand where all these figures, etc come from.

The good thing is once you get the hang of it - it is something you'll be aware of constantly and you'll get a better understanding about your eating habits.

So I HIGHLY suggest making the effort to take every chance to educate yourself. Even if you don't end up going with any of these methods, calculations, etc - at least you understand what they are, where others are coming from, and maybe they will still be able to help you figure out what is best for you.

When you are tracking your food portions be sure to measure and weigh your food so you are getting the calories correct. It takes a long time to "eye" a portion and understand just how much anything is...it is impossible to get this right without weighing and measuring. You must have measuring utensils and a kitchen scale or this will not work......if it is calories/portions you are counting. Many times people wonder why things are not working, for an example... they pour a bowl of breakfast cereal and think that it is the same calories on the box label when it could be doubled or tripled the amount. Good luck, you are in a good place here, lots of nice people with great information. Stay focused, track food, no mindless eating, exercise, and have some fun with it. ; ))
