Sorry - everybody's weight fluctuates according to the menstrual cycle, having sore muscles, having consumed sodium and thus retaining water, or for no apparent reason at all. It's frustrating, I know. Hang in there.0

Stop weighing yourself so often.0

Could be water, TOM, or sodium. Could even be that your scale has been moved. We all fluctuate up and down. I'm sorry. Maybe just watch your sodium better?0

it will flux due to salt and your cycle and even time of day.0

stop weighing so frequently. your weight is going to fluctuate. period. accept it and move on.0

Sounds like a crummy scale or a scale that gets moved in between weighings. Always weigh first thi in morning before eating, after going to the bathroom. It will always be more at end of day. Even shower water /damp hair changes my #. I always fluctuate 3 lb at cycle time.0

yep, nothing you can do... but maybe your scale needs a new battery since those are some big fluctuations but all the variables above could probably cause that much of a fluctuation..0

Stop weighing yourself so often.

Patience! As long as the trend is downwards over time-like in a week or a month-not to worry. Eat right, exercise, sleep etc. and it WILL go down overall.0

What does your diet look like? Are you eating a lot of carbs? Salt laden foods? Do you have to poop? Lots of reasons why your scale would fluctuate so much.
But like everyone said, don't weigh so often. Once a week is plenty. Try to weigh at the same time each week, so you can be consistent.
I tend to weigh on Tuesdays right before I get into the shower for the day.0 -
Weigh yourself on the same scales, same time of day, same place weekly, biweekly, monthly, etc0

I was told that I should weigh myself every morning for a few days to see how much my weight is fluctuating. Now that I know then I am only going to weigh myself once a week. Someone told me that strength training exercises may help0

Who told you this? Why?
Put the scale away. Try weighing yourself once a month, not once a week. You are focusing way too much on results, and not on behaviors. Because your weight fluctuates so much, it will only drive you crazy.
