Some people say they have trouble eating all the calories they are alloted. Give it a try for a week and do your best to eat all your calories. (Remember, exercising means you need to eat more.) If your weight does not move in the direction you want, then re-evaluate your profile settings. Maybe you are less active than you thought.

For males a safe weight loss is up to 2lb per week and for females, it is up to 3lb.

I have the same issue as do many on this site. My base calorie intake is 1210 and then I average around 700 more per day from exercise. I dont try to eat the entire 1900, I try to keep it around 1200- 1400. So all that happens is that I have been losing 2 pounds per week instead of one.
Some days when I am busy I have a hard time just getting to the 1200 - I am not a morning eater and used to often not eat until around 2 in the afternoon. Now I force myself to at least eat a yogurt or something but then I will find I have several hundred calories left at the end of the day. I try to add healthy stuff ( milk, nuts) that have a slightly higher calorie count.
Still working on eating a regular breakfast everyday so calories are better spread out thorughout the day
