Hi people,
I'm new to my fitness pal. Let me introduce myself.
I'm female, 23 years old and sedentary. My weight is 112 pounds, my heigh is 5'2". My goal weight is 99 pounds. I've never been on a diet before, and I don't consider what I'm on right now as a diet. I see it as a life change. I should mention that I never had much struggle with binge eating neither much cravings to begin with. It's not been a huge change in my life anyway, I'm just learning to do the portion control and track what I'm eating.
When I started on my fitness pal, it recommended me to eat a 1200 calorie diet. It was really amazing for the two first weeks, I lost like 2 pounds each week. But then, another 2 weeks have passed and no weight loss could be seen. I wonder what I am doing wrong, I don't know. In fact I'm doing the same I did couple weeks ago, and suddenly it stopped working.
Maybe I just put my body at starvation mode or something, not sure. If so, how to get out? What should I be doing to fix that? I really don't know what to do, any help will be very apreciatted, thanks for taking time to read.

I recommend you to read this : http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/23912-links-in-mfp-you-want-to-read-again-and-again
It's a lot to read but it can certainly help you figure out what to do0 -
Thank you, it turns out that those posts are long but worth it reading.
I realized that I am eating too little (under my bmr), so that's maybe my body entering the starvation mode. I'll be gradually increasing my calories to see what happens.0 -
jajaja yea I'm doing the same.. experimenting with the numbers :P LOL .. I have friends on here that are following those instructions and losing weight at a good steady pace (1 pound per week most of them) I'll send you a friend request0
