Meat eater turned to a Vegetarian ( fellow vegetarians)

I started my journey to change my Omnivorous lifestyle to a Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian lifestyle back last summer... For 4 months I did very well I did not touch any meat and limited of any type of dairy until one day I went and cheated... I still feel guilty for cheating..I have not had any meat for over a month... I am doing very well specially since I have my husband supporting my decision ( even though he said he will always eat meat) by trying my new vegetarian recipes I learned. I have always wanted to try vegetarian lifestyle but as a child you were taught to eat what was on your plate or you couldn't leave the table and then as a adult it was just easier to fix one meal and to tell you the truth I was not ready for this change until just recently. I do feel tired sometimes, but I think it is do to low iron or protein... Can anyone tell me how I can keep both of those in balance so I wont be tired.. I do have pre meals with meat, but I pick out the meat on my plate.. I am surprised I have not craved any meat since I went back to this lifestyle.. I am doing this for myself and my health..     beans and nuts for protein, and maybe iron supplement if you dont think your getting enough. I still figuring this out myself as I am also new to the vegetarian life

    Beans, and nuts for protein. Peanut butter is a delicious and easy way to get protein. Dark leafy greens, and lentils for iron. There's plenty more, google is your BFF. Vegetarianism was super easy for me. I had a cheese obsesssion. Then I went vegan, now I have an avocado and strawberry obsession. :D

    I have been living a lacto-ovo vegetarian lifestyle for 14 days. I feel so much better. I'm not sure that I'm ready to make the full jump to vegan anytime soon, as I love dairy far too much. One day I'm sure I'll get there. I'm still figuring out the specifics of what goes well together. The problem is I have a gluten/wheat sensitivity, so it's hard for me to put together meals that are not only filling, but tasty. I find myself eating salads more often than not. I have found spaghetti squash to be an AMAZING alternative to regular spaghetti. It's easy to make and you can put almost anything on it. Any advice on recipes that have worked for you would be greatly appreciated. Best of luck on your weight loss/healthy lifestyle journey!!
