Donny Osmond's first solo album. Yes, it was vinyl! I was maybe 8 and my older sister and I pooled our allowances to buy it! Donny was maybe 13.

Good lord, I have to go way back to remember the first vinyl record I bought. I think it was Captain Fantastic and The Brown Dirt Cowboy by Elton John. That would have been 1975 or 1976. I still love listening to that!

When I was 6, I bought some scratched up Beatles 45s at a church rummage sale. When I was 7, I asked my mom to buy me 2 Bay City Rollers records. Sadly, she did.

Motley Crue - Shout at the Devil. I was around 11. I still remember my parents pitching a fit over the lyrics. Which made me love the music even more. Next thing ya know I was playing the guitar.
