Need advice from the ladies!

Has anyone else found that the 1st place the weight comes off is the boobs? Just wondering if anyone else knows of any stretches or excersizes to prevent it? any advice welcome!

  • I'm pretty sure you just have to live with it. You can't exactly control where your body burns fat. I've already gone down about two bra sizes and I'd rather just be healthy than have big boobs, even if it does kinda suck. If you're really upset about it you could have surgery.

Where your body loses fat first is determined by your genetics. The last place you gained the fat, will be the first place you lose it.

i always loose my boobs first. The weight loss travels down from there. But i look forward to it- i'm a DD when I'm at my heaviest. good bye boobies!

You know, that would make sense. My *kitten* and waist were what thickened up last - those were the first down. My boobs - ALWAYS the first place I gain - are only now starting to (very, very, veeerrrrrry slowly) start getting smaller.

Is there a scientific reason for this?

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones...I've gone from a 38dd to a 36ddd (not really sure how that works, but so far the boobs haven't really gone anywhere).

Just get some new perkier ones if it really bothers you. I'm gonna get mine re-perkified at some point.

Don't think there are any exercises to prevent that.

The last place I lose from is my boobs :( It annoys me because I hate having big boobs, causes me back pain and it's just a general pain buying clothes that flatter a big chest without making you look like a buxom wench or bigger than you actually are. I've lost nearly 3 stone and my cup size hasn't gone down from a G cup. Gahhhh.
  • Yep it sucks, I lost loads from there still am.. However I went from 38C to 34D , so it still sounds good haha, using your muscles should help make the loss look better, but honestly, I made a HUGE fuss about mine, you cant prevent it so just accept the new form :) I always say I am in proportion now, but really I miss them. however, in the future, smaller and perkier will stand the test of time. I am considering surgery though, at some point. Its all mixed feelings, but really just make sure you are happy and be proud you lost the weight!

Yes, I used to be a 38D, lost 10 lbs and went down to a 38C, then gained the 10 lbs back but the big boobs didn't come back. Then I lost the 10 pounds again and went down to a 36 C. It's totally fine with me since I don't care if I have huge boobs or not, but it is mystifying how the pounds crept onto my tummy and thighs, but came off my boobs.

I'd be happy to lose some of my boobs. I have an overabundance of boobage. You can always fluff up smaller boobs with padding if you feel you need to.

You can't spot reduce - meaning you can't choose where you lose weight..

In 2005, when I lost 35 pounds (which sadly I regained from 2009-2012), I did lose a few bra sizes while losing the weight. Once my weight stabilized in my goal weight zone, I found that I did gain back some fullness and a full cup size. I can't explain it scientifically, but for me it felt like my body was just trying to calibrate from the "shock" of the weight loss.

My theory is that if you were big busted before you became overweight, they stay. If you weren't, they go.

I was. Mine got bigger. My sister's weren't. Here's got smaller.

It's what it is. You'll be healthier and look better thinner in any case.
