The first one I bought myself was DJ Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince's Code Red, bought it with my birthday money when I was nine. The first record I ever owned was a Fraggle Rock album, don't remember what it was called.

Jars of Clay, by Jars of Clay.

I remember listening to it while I had my first and second (two-for-one) root canal when I was 13.

Chris LeDoux...don't remember the title of the album, we had to order the 8-track, he was still rodeoing at the time. Actually, I didn't buy it, I think my parents bought it for my brother, who was also a bronc rider then, but I loved it too. Wore the heck out of that tape driving around in my Dad's pickup! .

As much as it pains me to say it, I think it was The Sign by Ace of Base.

What?!? I was 8! Don't look at me like that...
