MFP is better than facebook!

Just wondering if people agree with me.
I think MFP is SOOOO much better than facebook! Facebook is full of nothing but drama (especially for us teens!). MFP has a lot of optimism and happy stuff! Of course, there are the occasional haters that make a profile just to hate, but there are more of us happy people than there are of them mean people.
I love it!

I'm on MFP 90% more than FB.0

I spend way more time on here now than I do on Facebook!0

I like that on MFP I can post all about my fitness and eating and what I'm doing and how I'm going and people don't see it as "boasting" or douchyness.0
-
I will agree with this. I rarely spend as much time on facebook as I do on here.0

I agree, Facebook should be called Dramabook.
Atleast the people on here are serious about losing weight and are here to back other people. If people have a bad day or put on weight, atleast people have the courtesy to say that too bad, keep up the hard work and it will get better.0 -
teenager huh?0

Very much agreed. I used to be on facebook a lot, but since I joined MFP I don't go on there a lot anymore.
MFP is awesome0 -
Wow, it's refreshing to see such a positive post and thread. Keep it up, girly, drown out the whingeing of the pretentious and the snickering of trolls.
Edit: I tried to say 'sn iggering trolls' and it censored me!0 -
I agree, I am on here way more than FB. Only time I get on FB is for games. Maybe MFP should start a chat option0
-
I agree. I deleted my FB account a few months ago because I was bored with it.0
-
I posted that same thing on my profile here last week. Also, instead of playing games, I exercise! Awesome!0
-
I use both for different reasons... so both for me are great0
-
I like both sites... I agree Facebook can be drama but don't say mfp is not drama because I have seen a lot of people start drama on threads.0
-
I just wish it had a LIKE button ;-)0
-
guess the big difference is I don't talk to 16 year olds in FB, you should go to sparkteens.com0
-
Sadly it has a lot of drama-makers also though0
-
I just wish I had more friends on myfitnesspal.com!0
-
i was just thinking the same thing earlier today!0
-
I prefer MFP to Facebook also.0

MFP has replaced FB almost completely for me! I rarely get on there anymore, and I love it.0

it's like we are in a lifeboat all rowing together! Trying to save our *kitten*! (so to speak) as we were doing our best before not caring about important things like our HEALTH... and enjoying more than the next BIG MAC or SODA or whatever your food of choice was! I think 99% of people here are positive, will encourage you, and are real... I visit the site a few times daily to log my food & exercise and find myself reading the posts more and more, success stories, questions... a lot of articles on here pique my interest these days. Cheers! Friends!0

I have them both open at once, while I work from home (on another computer). I do particularly enjoy the "positiveness" of MFP over the gripe-fest that Fbook often becomes, but my kids and other family members stay in touch through there.
I prefer the Fbook chat options....0 -

I use FB but this is different for me, only one person other than my husband,parents,in-laws know that im doing this.. I'm not ready to tell them, i know a lot of them are my friends but still. Different "relationships". But there is less pettyness, which I never would have guess w/ a bunch of women0

I don't use Facebook.0

I find myself spending more time on MFP than on Facebook. I LOVE MFP!!!0
