Owning up to the excuses

Options
OK... I hope that by airing my excuses out in public I'll be less likely to fall back on them... So here are some of my excuses and twisted reasonings I've actually said to myself & others...

The calories don't count if the whole thing fits in your mouth in one bite (I can fit a LOT for the " don't count" calories)
Chocolate comes from a bean which makes it a healthy protein
Corn dogs are healthy - cornbread coating is made from corn which means its a veggie & the hotdog is protein
Boston cream donuts have 3 food groups: vegetable (chocolate), grain (donut) & dairy (cream filling)
I'm a "fat kid" (seriously, this is how we have referred to ourselves)

What are some of your excuses that helped you along your way?

If nobody sees me eat it, the food has no calories.

Breaking cookies in half reduces the calorie content

Milk right from the jug? Yep, zero calories

Not an excuse, but a helpful hint - you can save calories by eating hot fudge without ice cream.

Ditto food at Grandma's house or my parent's house.
