Can't recall for certain, but it was either Def Leppard "Pyromania" or Quiet Riot "Metal Health". There may have been a Journey or REO Speedwagon somewhere in there as well, but I can't be sure....lol!

I ordered the first two i ever bought with my own money from one of those cd sales scams. They were AC/DC's Back in Black and Metallica the Black album. They came on the same day.

Greatest albums of all time, which I didn't know. I only ordered them because Bevis and Butthead had Metallica and AC/DC on their shirts. I thought that black was cool, so the albums must have been too.

Saw this question earlier and have been thinking about it for hours. My first cd was probably the first Usher album. Embarrassing... dont judge me. -_-

The Rolling Stones "Aftermath" album in 1966. I was rocking to the Stones when most of America was "bopping" to the Beatles. Look who is still Rockin' today!!! 50 years and still getting it done. Slowed down a bit, but they can still can still do the down and nasty R&B and great rock guitar licks.

Oh...and I remember my first 8-track was Queen sometime in 1976. No fond memories at all of 8-tracks except for when quadrophonic sound came out and we had to get new 8-track players to hear Quadrophenia from The Who.
