Good Morning Pepper's,
No change again. still 197 no gain/no loss. Not sure what to do I am not going over my calories, I think I will stop adding my exercise calories. I need to figure why I am not loosing. I have been good but guess I will have to swich things up again and get at least 30 mins of exercise daily.
Well No will be used very often from now on. I will not stress out now I have a couple of week to loose some weight I go back to the doctors on the 8th.

ok so I weight in at 247.2, a samll gain but I have not weight in for 2 weeks and I was up last week so I am not upset. Also I just started this new routine so I know I got to give it time.
Ok this week challage is no eating 2-3 hours before bed.

I lost 2 pounds this week .... i am happy to say that this is the 2nd day i have walked with Leslie Sansone .. i am on the right track in that dept ... just wish my appetite would come back ... i am eating but cant seem to eat a full meal ... one day at a time is all i can do ..... hope everyone else is doing good0 -

Had a good day, staying with in calories got a 30 min walk. Will not eat 2-3 hours before bed.

Hey all the scale said 200 today....lost a pound....but still at a loss to why there is not a difference going on here..... my membership to curves was up this week:frown: and not enough money to reniew it right now... so been doing walking lawn mowing and cleaning all the time....but eating sugar junk too.....
parade tomorrow here so the girls and I will be in it skating, and then I will be selling water all day hopefully we can get the derby team up and going fund wise...
Little depressed.....well not depressed, but sad today....... dont know why......

Sorry I have been MIA. Just being lazy. I am trying to do little things around the house to make sure I am ready for the baby. I am not sure if we are moving at end of the May or not. I have been taking some naps but mostly have been reading about labor & delivery and breastfeeding. I can't believe how tired I get doing anything. I can't wait only about 2.5 more weeks before baby comes. I am excited. The doctor thinks my baby weighs 7-7.5 pounds already. That is bigger than what I was expecting. Lesson I learned: Don't ask if you really don't want to know the answer. I think I am done freaking out about having a 8.5 pound baby at birth. I was aiming for 7-7.5 pounds. It will be what it will be. I can't wait for my baby to get here. I am still at 225. I hope I don't gain anymore weight. Gaining 18 pounds is enough. Maybe I will one of the lucky ones who lose a few pounds before they go into labor.
Jacque - sorry to hear about your grandma.:flowerforyou: Congrats on the swimming. I love to swim. Right now it is the only exercise that doesn't sap all of my energy after 5 minutes. I always feel so much better when I am in the water.
MissV - I wish my husband would say something sweet to me. Cheer up! Remember your hubby thinks you are a skinny lady!:flowerforyou:
I love the challenge just say no! I am going to have to try it for this week. I am struggling with eating healthy. All I want to eat is sweets.

Weight - 237; same as last time. Not unhappy about it because I didn't gain...even though I haven't really been doing my plan until this last week.
I'm up for not eating 2-3 hrs before bed.

evenin' gang....
not doing so great here....up 4.2 lbs this week....and why would I lose since I have not eaten well, nor exercised. have not logged food. so much going on here and eating healthy just has not been important or planned. I finally got out all my summer clothes and put away winter ones. WHOA. made me even more depressed. I bought some really cute, fun clothes last spring/summer and not much of it fits. I must have 15 tank tops.....and my upper arms have always been my uncomfortable area....must have felt good last year. so, I just keep pushing the dagger in farther....and look my wt up from a year ago.....4.24.09 was 181.2. that is 16.4 lbs l.o.w.e.r.:frown: I just don't know what is going on and why I can't focus. I gotta stop gaining and get serious.
I was only successful with the *no* challenge a couple of days. I am not going to partake in this weeks challenge as I will be on the plan of eating every 2-3 hours, all day long, which includes 1 hr prior to bedtime. I did this a few weeks ago and it worked well....kept my metabolism up all day. I am going to keep with the *no* choice and bring on the sit-ups again. I really want to get into them summer shorts and tops again......that is my motivation.....
Congrats to everyone for losing and gaining only slightly. I am very proud of you and maybe next week I can post a loss too. Glad to see everyone checking in....take care my friends and have great weekend. :flowerforyou:0 -

Looks like everyone had a busy week end. Well I was good, did yard work all week end so got lots of exercise (can feel every muscle today) :laugh:
Well its going to be busy, my boss is out sick today so I am on my own, but have the day off tomorrow for my appointment for my wrist so can recover then.

Hey everyone....wishin' you all a good Monday. Been doing house chores this am. We had a rainy weekend ( needed ) so I beaded jewelry both days. Need to do lots more for the show this weekend and then again in 3wks. Have a 4th grade field trip Wednesday to Dubuque River Museum....will do a city walk, then bead in my bus.....yup, crazy beading now...
Eating could be better, but not consuming as much as I was. water is about 1/2 of what it should be and I need to get movin', A LOT! tryin' harder...

HAD a super busy weekend!
SAturday~ Stood on my skates for an hour waiting for the town parade to start, skated throughout the parade, stood all day long handing out flyers, selling bottles of water and getting the word out about our local derby team! start of that day we had 66 fans on the web site, end of the day we had over 300 more!
went to a friends bbq that night ate a veggie pattie, lots of veggies and drank some adult drinks (That wenrt too bad at all)
Sunday~back at the booth for over 3 hours selling water, handling out flyers and standing and walking the whole tim!
It was wonderful! we did sell cupcakes so I had one for each day .....but it was ok with me:)
Today ate a slice of toast and a extra small nanner and went to the gym! Feeling empowered and wonderful!

Ammcnett~ Im so very excited for you! a 7-7.5 pound baby is the normal healthy size! I had a 7 pounder and a 7.5 pounder:) LOL Im lucky to have very easy fast births.....my doctor says I was made for having babies....which is not something that I wanted to hear, but I am glad that god made my body able to have an easy labor! Keep us updated and we are here for you! that weight is gonna FALL off when your angel baby is out you know that!:)

Sorry MIA Computer is infected with Virus. My friend is going to come over sometime this week to try and fix. Fingers crossed. Will be back at work to morrow so will be able to check in. Worked out all last week had a break Saturday and worked out Sunday and today. Spent all day at the Hospital with my BFF her dad had surgery today for Colon cancer. All went well so it was a good day all in all. Write more later luv ya all0

Yesterday was good, kept it 'clean' and 8+ water, but no exercise. Really tired today...and likely b/c 'ol flo is here...I will get the chart posted sometime today. If it's ok w/ all of you, I am not going to do the team totals at the bottom of the chart.....?
Cindy ~ Keep it going with the exercise...trying to get some motivation from you active Pepper's! I too have Dr's appt's coming up...well woman, cardiologist and blood lipids. Oh and I think that is so cool that you and Barb got to meet up and hang out! That is special!

Erica~ hey there, your about to bust into them 100's!! hang in there and stay positive...the scale will eventually move with all that exercise you are doing!! what is the name of your derby team? have you had meet/match/game yet? I bet the fans go wild!! the parade sounded like a lot of fun. Yes, you are skinny Vita. you are a few lbs more than I, but much, much taller! Proud of *you*! :flowerforyou:

Angie ~ getting so excited for your little boy to arrive! I don't know what to tell ya bout the baby size thing. I was early, 5lbs 13oz, and my dh, on time, was 8lbs 10oz. Our first was 3 wks early and was 8lbs 7oz, and our 2nd was 1 wk early and was 10 lbs.:noway: ( was not C-section :frown: ) 1st labor was 3 1/2 hrs and 2nd was 5 hrs, both induced with forceps. I had eclampsia with the first and polyhydramnios with the 2nd. I think the size of my babies had a lot to do with my FIL baby size, he was 11 lbs and 2 oz. :noway: From what I know, most of my family were all 6-7 lbers. I gained 60 with the first and 50 with the 2nd. Got back to 140-145 with both after delivery.....guess this is NOT baby wt I am carrying around! You are doing very well. You have kept your wt gain low and a great thing is that you have remained active the entire time! I think that will help you with your delivery and with your post delivery wt loss. You will do wonderful and I just know the excitement you are feeling now!!

How is everyone? I am doing good. I am 38 weeks today and still hoping the baby will decide to come on time. I feel so good when I am in the water I wish I could stay in the pool all day everyday. The pool I swim in is closing May 3 through June 14. I am going to miss swimming next week. I probably won't get very much exercise in because I can't swim. It is the only exercise that I can do comfortably now for more than 5 minutes. I feel very lazy and doing anything is work. I hope everyone is having a Happy Tuesday!0

Day # 3 of keepin' it clean! well, yesterday I had many NO's!! Had to run in to the city....and went by McDonald's, Burger King, and Casey's.....and did not stop! Temptations were gettin pretty strong at an intersection/stop light...and there sits a Subway!! Did not want all the salt there...so I kept on going! BUT....yes, I will admit, I had ONE morel (mushroom) for supper. dh cooked them in flour and butter. He has 3 more lbs....and we will cook a lb a day.....only once a year, so I will have my one a day!

Well today went ok. Ate meat yesteraday, found that I had a turkey in the freezer so I made it yesterday so taht i could make turkey enchilladas for this weekend as a friend requested them before she deploys to Iraq for 6 months.
So i ate some turkey last night (It was really good it was a jennie o) but not a ton.
ate left overs for lunch which was more then i normally eat for lunch, but heck....and I skated outside for an hour tonight..... worked at the school today and the kids were crazy...my kids are being bad at home tonight and I cant wait till my mothersday get away to vegas! I need it so bad!

cool Erica. I just searched your team and it brought up the article in the News-Times....I think a local paper in Whidbey? So do you have to try out for positions? what do you want to be? we will be "roasting" and seasoning our hog this weekend and then freeze it for the grad party....18 days way! will be shopping soon for all of that, and I have to work on a 'picture' board too. SO MUCH TO DO! ugh!
I am gonna really try hard and stick to eating cleaner....gosh, I feel so much better after a few days. bloating is gone and feeling thinner, yay. am sure I would feel even better if I would exercise, regularly :huh:

Very quickly I am still going strong. Hope to have a loss. I called and rescheduled my appointment giving me 5 more weeks to loose a couple of pounds. Sorry have not been able to check in. Work has been crazy will have to get back to it.

Yep that was us in the local paper, that was at the begining of this thing and most of the information was wrong and that wasnt nearly all the team:( but hopefully we can get a better picture in there soon!:)

I was talking to my friend yesterday as we skated int eh sun outside about starting next week they are really gonna start kicking our butts into shape and work us so hard wqe feel like vomiting:( But i told her taht I will hate it while doing it but feel so much better and energised after. i love that feeling!:flowerforyou:
Don't really care what position I get....Im not super fast but i am a great blocker because of my size.
QUESTION!~ Are we all looking at our goals every so often and changing them up and making ourselves strive for it? I know that I have been looking at my goals lately and told myself "I am ok at this weight should I stop?" The easy answer for me it YES, but i know to really feel good about myself and to be in a healthy body I need to loose that 25 or so more pounds!
I am 5'10 and I look TOO skinny and bone thin at anything under 175 or 170 so that is my goal, and by all measurements I will be healthy at taht weight. Are we throwing in some ME TIME into our lives? we should be! It will help you mentally and physically......THE ONLY WAY TO DO THIS IS FULL ON make a pact with yourself! make a daily/weekly/monthly goal! set new goals often and SEE THEM MET! Im ready for a healthier me LETS DO IT PEPPERS you know once we start going we are on fire:)

GOAL~ loose 10 pounds by the end of may (If goal is met early make it harder with another)
REWARD~ WHEN I meet that goal I will buy myself a nice new sweatshirt or a pair of shoes! (both i am needing)
SHOW OFF~ Once I meet my goal I will post a picture of me wearing my reward so that all my pepper friends can see it:)
I will try to make healthy choices in Vegas next weekend and do a lot of walking so that can get some exercise in!

Erica, I first heard about the Larabar's from Bob on Biggest Loser. I have been eating them for about 2 mos. Then yesterday they mentioned them on *the dr's* show. I have had 2 kinds, peanut butter, and I think, cherry pie. I like the peanut butter ones best. NO added sugar, 4 g fiber, 7 g protein ( 1/2 serv of fruit) and only 3 ingredients!! The peanut butter one has dates, peanuts and salt. also, gluten free, dairy free, soy free, non gmo ( what ever that is, lol), vegan and kosher. From the pkg " simple, pure, delicious. enjoy the energy " 1 bar (pb) has 220 cals, 12 g fat ( healthy ), sat fat 2 g, poly 3.5, mono 6, chol 0, sodium 45g, K+ 360 mg, carb 23 g, fiber 4g, protein 7g. I got mine at Walmart for around 1.44 each...kinda pricey, but a quick snack for when I am in a rush, usually just before my afternoon route.....and I don't have one every day... I like them a lot, very chewy and filling, and it just right for my snack, which I like to keep around 200 cals.
