Quiting Tobacco

So I realize this isn't the site for this kind of post but I have a question. I quit chewing 4 months ago after chewing since I was 15 years old. Well I have been doing well no cravings or anything but last night I had a dream that I was at a baseball game and put in what seemed like a half a can and was the best feeling. Well when I woke up I freaked thinking I had actually chewed and felt like a piece of ****. So my question is to anyone who either quote chewing/smoking/drinking whatever has anything like this happened to you?

I have never been a tabacco user, but I became a vegetarian in 2009 and have had dreams where I am eating a hot dog, steak, etc. that were very vivid and felt real. It does make you feel guilty, but it is all a part of the process; don't let it discourage you. Congrats on the 4 months!!0

I quit smoking 2 years ago. I have had very vivid dreams about smoking and woke up just craving a cigarrette. But then I just go about my morning routine and the feeling passes quickly. Honestly, what helps me is seeing my boss, who has COPD and has to have oxygen 24 hours a day. He can no longer walk 5 feet without being out of breath. It is so sad to see a once vibrant man reduced to that. I think to myself that that could have been me.
Oh, and the smell!!! I never understood my mother's reaction everytime I would come over after having smoked in my car driving to her house. I get it now. It reeks!!!!! I was with my aunt the other day and we were sitting out in her truck and she was smoking. When I got out, I could taste the cigarrette smoke!! I needed to brush my teeth right away to get that taste out!!!!0 -
I quit smoking a year and a half ago. I have had dreams that seemed so real that I was smoking again. Even in my dream after I had smoked, I would feel so guilty and of course waking up with that same guilt. When I first quit smoking, the dreams were very frequent but I tried not to let them get the best of me. They have subsided and I haven't had a smoking dream in quite some time. I think it's because I no longer miss smoking and I don't have severe cravings anymore. So the dreaming will go away, just try not to let it get you down in the meantime.
Congrats on 4 months!! That's awesome!0 -

One time I dreamed that I was just walking down the street and found a baggie of cocaine. That was fun.0
